Dubbed Version for US
I have to say that the English dubbed version is pretty disappointing. It plays as very silly, yet at the same time, one can sense a more subtle film behind the frequently inane and annoying dialog.
If you haven't seen it, it's on YouTube, here:

The poster also makes available a German-dubbed version:

And the original French-language version:

Alas, my German is VERY RUSTY, and the subtitles (which appear to be Russian) aren't very helpful. As for the original French, I have no French at all, and so am limited to "C'est la vie," "cafe au lait", "Charles de Gaul", "Eiffel Tower" and so on.
If there are any linguists (cunning or otherwise) out there who can give the German or French versions a look and tell me whether this is a better movie than what the American dub reveals, I would certainly appreciate it!
