Why no dvd?

Somebody is really missing the boat by not releasing this film in Region 1 on dvd. I remember this film on its initial release in the U.S., and its popularity as a lushly produced and sexy costume drama with Laura Antonelli, Terence Stamp and Marcello Mastroianni, and would love to be able to see it again.
