This is where they put in an emergency crossover to allow the two trains to pass each other.

there's a new book on amazon.com called TELEVISION FRIGHT FILMS OF THE 1970S that talks about this film.

I never saw this flick, but I saw it being filmed. It always annoyed me that it didn't take place in CT after having been filmed there.

I liked the blue lights on the police car where the trains were supposed to collide. In 1979, California police used red lights.
