The actor that played Larry Mead lives near me here in St. Louis, Missouri. I remember when this movie came out and Terry thought it was his big break. He used to be seen walking in shopping malls with a parrot on his shoulder and parrot poop all down his back. Needless to say, that was NOT his big break, so he became a local fireman in St. Louis County. He just retired from the dept. and is living the quiet life. I don't know if he still has a parrot.
