Casey Kasem's finest role
Something about that police pathologist's voice makes me want to make a long-distance dedication.

shareYes he was great in this. Er, what exactly do you mean by a long distance dedication?
Hell on Frisco Bay!
I take it you've never heard "American Top 40"?
shareThey still have that? I remember Kasem's voice and my sister listening to it in the 80's but that was back when I was too young to be interested in radio music.
Hell on Frisco Bay!
Apparently they still have "American Top 40" with Ryan Seacrest as the host. I haven't listened to it in decades, since Casey Kasem had it. From what I hear, Casey is not doing well now.
Anyway, Casey would always give a long-distance dedication on the show, often to loved ones in the service stationed overseas.
Sorry to hear that about him and I hope he gets better. It's always been a pleasure to hear his unique voice whether on radio, in animation or as an actor.
Hell on Frisco Bay!
Indeed! He has a very distinctive voice, and it was a real treat to see him in this film when I was used to hearing him over the radio.
Unfortunately, he's 81 and suffering Parkinson's disease, and reportedly his wife is preventing his children from seeing him. Sounds like a very nasty battle.
