where to get full version ?

Supposedly an hour has been cut out for the facets and UK release. I have also read of a two disc, full version, from UK but cannot find it online. Does anyone know where to get the full version ?

It is released on DVD in the UK by Infinity Arthouse. NB: There is a 2006 release at 145 min - NOT the full version - but yesterday I saw a 2010 DVD release (again Infinity Arthouse) for sale at the BFI Filmstore in London at 200 min,(see also very last sentence at the end).

Later I checked availability and was unable to find any 200 min version anywhere on the web, so look carefully at the data on the rear cover at the bottom where it clearly states '200 min', before buying. I only wish I'd bought it there and then (trusting that the quality is superior to the 145 min version of course).

There is also the VHS version from Artificial Eye at 224 min, if you can get hold of it. This is recorded as three episodes, so has triplicated credits which I believe would very likely explain the extra time over the 200 min version.

I have just watched an Infinity DVD version says "200m" on the cover (INF208). The actual running time was around 144m, but the DVD also contained an hour long documentary on Rosi that bumped the total running time up to around 200m.

Some DVD labels seem to add-up content running-time in this way for their cover specs.

Indeed some distributors do and it is an unfair practice IMHO, as others make a clear distinction. Thanks very much for that, much appreciated.

The only other way to get the full version is from the Artificial Eye VHS 2-tape box set.

Criterion will release a 220 min version on 22 Sep 2020.
