I just read the review titled "Aussi Stud: Nice Review, Wrong Movie"...
I have to say that I got this film mixed up too with "The Cannibals" aka "Les Cannibales" aka "White Cannibal Queen". But that film was directed by Franco, not Prosperi.
But why does the exact same cast list (Al Cliver, Sabrina Siani, etc) appear here as for Franco's film?
Exactly! I'm looking for this movie for a quite long time and I'm not even sure if it really exists. No infos can be found about that one anywhere and most of the cast (with exception of one actor) are the people from Jess Franco flick 'Cannibals'
Maybe it's a hoax but I'm very interested in that movie.
Also I have seen recently Al Cliver will be in the new Italian- American cannibal movie (2010)
Yes, I think it's "White Cannibal Queen". This is what I found thanks to one poster.
Not really a hoax, and although unacceptable, the IMDB's mistake is somewhat understandable. During the opening credits of Blue Underground's print of CANNIBALS one of the first credits reads "A Film by Franco Prosperi". But it also ends with the credit "Directed by Clifford Brown"(at least I think that's the pseudonym Franco uses for that one)! Sorry don't have screencap abilites so no visual proof. You have to take my word on it!
I have a different dvd release of 'White Cannibal Queen' and there was no sign of Franco Prosperi name what I remember. But if It's true why this one guy has a credit on imdb? 'I Cannibali' is the only movie he has in his filmography.

But during my research I received another message - this time from Greek VHS collector.
The very same thing is on the Greek VHS credits: A FILM BY FRANCO PROSPERI in the beginning and later DIRECTED BY CLIFFORD BROWN.
I decided to ask one of my friends from Italy about that movie and recived answer :
'Hi! I have heared about that movie in the past and even tried to contact Franco Prosperi,but It was not possible. I think I saw the poster for it many years ago and I don't think it's 'White Cannibal Queen' because Jess Franco movie is quite well known here in Italy. There are many Italian horror movies which are incredible hard to get and sometimes not released even on Italian vhs' so It's possible It was released but unfortunately can't help you more with this movie.'
So I have no idea if it exists or Like you said It's just 'White Cannibal Queen'. Jess Franco flick could be only produced by Prosperi, that's why he has a credit on the screen. The year of production is also different, but it's just one year so no hard difference.

All the same flick. I think "White Cannibal Queen" is the best title, but it also goes by "Mondo Cannibale" and on Tubi right now it is simply listed as "Cannibals".
