"Wahhhh! People hate a controversial, shocking film and it upsets me!!!"

Oh, the irony of fans of this film whining because people hated Cannibal Holocaust!

Hey, geniuses, you know that Cannibal Holocaust is one of the most controversial movies of all time and that the whole point of it was to shock and offend, right? The fact that people are raging and expressing disgust is the exact reaction that the director wanted.

So exactly what did you expect when you came rushing onto this (or any forum, for that matter)? A gushing lovefest? It appears to be that way, since so many diehard fans are throwing temper tantrums because they're shocked and amazed that people loathed this movie. Shocked, I tells ya!

I'm not shocked people find this film offensive. The animal scenes, violence, and cruelty are shocking and I can see why they'd upset people. But if you look beyond that I think this is a very good film. The music, scenery, special effects, and cinematography are all good. And the violence is for a reason. It really makes you take a look at our society and the love we seem to have for hurting one another. Yet we still think of ourselves as civilized. I'm not upset that some people hate this film, I just don't agree with their opinion. It's a favorite movie of mine.

The turtle scene was like peering into hell itself. Apparently the direct was so shitty he couldn't think of a better way to convey that the film crew were a bunch of loathsome degenerates than by having his film crew act like a bunch of loathsome degenerates.
