Started to see it again in the mid 80s but had to go home and go to bed.

I was at my grandmas when this movie came on late at night and since it was late, I had to go home and go to bed. My parents were there to pick me up and couldn't watch it when I got home either since we had no television at the time because our TV's picture tube fried.
