Where's the love?

Ok, he's no Olivier, but C.H.O.M.P.S. has got it all over those other dogs.

I actually enjoyed this movie when I saw it...mind you I was 9 years old, but it was still funny.

I always found the LED display that showed the numerical commands 'flasshing' as he goes into action pretty amusing.

if they ever remade this, he should be a poodle or some other really wimpy looking dog.

reply

Maybe, if they remade it, they could use a Jack Russel Terrier like Wishbone. Small but fast. And aerodynamic.

Would you settle for some serious like instead of love?

I love dog movies, which are generally aimed at children, but this one seemed like a Saturday morning cartoon (back when cartoons aired on Saturday mornings). Of course, it was written by Joseph Barbera of Hanna-Barbera.

It's a pleasant little romp, but it could have been a tad less cutesy for my tastes. 6/10 stars.

Yes I can't believe the number of mean spirited pricks who have voted this wonderfull kids movie down to a 4.4/10 in the ratings. Pathetic! not the movie; the voters.

I agree i loved this movie when i was a kid and i think kids still love it today. it has a charm that is lost now days..

SO you put down your rock and i put down my sword and we kill each other like civilized men

The Robodog movies saturated the market, so this movie got lost in the scuffle and shuffle.
