I gotta disagree. There's a tense mood to the film. And Oliver Reed is very captivating.

And I have to disagree with you. Oliver was indeed captivating and the film had "some" tense moments,but it dragged on :/
shareIt’s 90 minutes long, Oliver Reed is mesmerising whenever he’s on screen, the psycho kids are disturbing and mysterious, and the ending has some of Cronenberg’s most horrific bio-horror.
If that bores you then that has worrying implications for today’s attention spans.
