The Big Ten Conference is like the Global Warming Denier Conference!

Just think of it- before the turn of the century there were only really ten colleges that competed in the Big Ten. And they only had to travel between Ohio and Iowa- with two teams each from Michigan, Indiana and Illinois grouped in the middle

Then, just as Climate Change really started occurring, they had to tempt fate- and seems almost like the Titanic did- an "unsinkable ship"- the Big Ten added Penn State to move the travel boundaries even further east then.

As if that wasn't enough then, and with Global Warming getting more obvious- the Big Ten expanded both eastward and westward- causing it's member teams now regular travel schedules from Rutgers in New Jersey in the east, all the way now out to Nebraska in the middle of the country.

As college and professional teams should be trying to make their games closer to home the Big Ten does just the OPPOSITE, which not only contributes more miles in travel adding to Global Warming, but which surely must also stress more the credibility of it's athletes-by introducing more travel time to their events and not being as focused on their scholastic endeavors but the ever growing professional aspect of big time college sports.

Both Dave Stohler and Charlie Paddock are turning in their graves.
