I'm going to see this film tonite on Spanish public television. Let's see what this movie has to offer.
Judging by the votes I'm not hoping very much of this film but the lack of cuantity (only 26) could be a inconclusive sign. Tomorrow I'll put an opinion of this apparently unknown film of the director Ken Loach.

I liked much the girl, Belle. She was really lovelly. But Louise Cooper only made this film ¡¡¡ohhh!!
The worse thing was the huge-french-man totally lost.

But I just watched this and found the settings wonderful. But it's nearly aimless and meanders for over 90mins. Most of the child actors needed some coaching on how to make themselves understood. A bit too much mumbling. With that...I still have to say that I enjoyed seeing it. And the little fellows from Time Bandits was a nice surprise.
Sure wish they make similar films today...just better stories.
