Laserdisc commentary is AMAZING

I'm not sure if the commentary exists on the DVD releases of this film, but on the laserdisc for some reason I was unable to turn the commentary track off. And dear god am I glad that happened! I went ahead and watched it anyway, and it was fascinating!

Russ Meyer tells a few great stories. First of all, he talks about flying Ebert to LA (who was married at the time) and basically fixing him up with a stripper. When asked what he wanted, apparently Ebert said, "everything but p*** and s***."

Also, Russ claims to have threatened to throw Gene Siskel out of a 12-story building when Siskel started saying bad things about Ebert.

He also describes in disturbing detail his sexual exploits with the cast, and how much each cast member liked to "eat p****."

He even gets distracted by every single bush/frontal in the film. By 1/3 of the way in, he just starts describing what's going on, and it's still hilarious!

Don't miss it, it's amazing.
