One thread per decade since release

Speaks volumes really...

"If I have any genius it is a genius for living" - Errol Flynn

I only checked it because I read Robert Shaw died while making it. I haven't even seen it.

Boy I am reading the reviews and the comments about this movie and it sounds like a real dog. The reason I was checking it out is I just read the book and I thought the book was great. I was hoping the movie might be good, but after reading everything I am somewhat reluctant to rent it.

Ah, go ahead and rent it. Yeah, there's some rough editing and Robert Shaw's dubbed voice is distracting, but it's also got Lee Marvin, plenty of action and John Dykstra's snowbound miniatures are something you won't see much of anymore in an industry where nearly every effect is done on a computer screen.

Guilty pleasure.
