Got my DVD
Not the best transfer I've ever seen. And based upon the Youtube snippits I've seen I'm mildly dissapointed in the Region Free DVD that came in the mail. But, at least I have the film.
shareI got the Region 2 DVD from Amazon.co.uk and it's not a bad copy.
I love this old film, really fun, saw it years ago with the kids.
Great cast, and of course the gorgeous Oliver Tobias playing Prince Hasan.
The Witch is back
Next paycheque I may spring for a boatload of Region 2 DVDs. I'm more than a little dissapointed with some companies really butchering the properties they sell.
I also really like this film. It's a good family flick that deserves a good transfer. Maybe it'll come out on blu-ray.
It's a great family film (showing on Channel 4 right now). Love Christopher Lee's hammy turn in it - great fun! :-)

Yeah, you know I think everyone loves a good adventure film, and this one has that boyish innocence about it. I wish they'd make more movies like this.
