Sean Flynn

I'm re-reading Dispatches by the recently passed Michael Herr and I can't help to think that the Dennis Hopper character is (not so) loosely based on him alone and not a "gonzo" journalist in general.Reading up on Flynn you find him to be a very complex and misjudged character as written by Herr and others.Any thoughts?
