If you ever read "You'll never Make Love in this town again" you might be surprised that two of the "angels" are actually in it. The cop Angel (Robin Greer) starred in Falcon Crest and had an affair with Lorenzo Llamas and the poor teenager angel Liza Greer (the actresses real life sister) became a penthouse model, addicted to drugs, caught up in prostitution, and all around screwed up.
It's kind of weird, because she looks so young and innocent there. :(
I think you might have your characters mixed up. Susan Kiger, the lead female in the film, had been a Playboy centerspread and at the time the film was made, was working near full time out of the Playboy Agency. She is the one who got heavy into drugs and later porno films and prostitution. I don't know what happened to her after that.
It was a shame because she was, when I knew her, an extremely nice person, and was one of Playboy's most sought after models. I hired her for several functions to serve as a hostess at cocktail parties my company staged in conjunction with some trade shows and she was very, very good at it. She had just the right combination of making each guy she talked to think he was the most important and sexiest guy in the world but was able to also keep them at arm's length.
That obviously changed after I knew her.
That's very sad indeed. She was quite lovely : (
But yes the sisters I spoke of were both in the movie and wrote their sections of the book. The girls who was the young one really was into prostitution, drugs etc but I think it was Penthouse she posed for intially.
Guess no one turned out well from that movie!
