So I actually bought the non-MST3K version

. . . That is, the original movie called Angel's Brigade (a big $3.99 from amazon.com, on VHS even! Now if it'd only been BETA . . .)

The biggest difference is that the first half of the movie is NOT a flashback. The movie begins with the scene of Sticks and Bobby, and just moves linearly from there.

And yes, Neville Brand is in the movie, as Robin Greene's Chief of super-secret-ops that allows women in bikinis to beat up guys.

So if you're curious about the original movie, well, you're not missing much. It's easier to survive with the commentary.

But if you really REALLY want the movie, I'll sell it to you for $2.99 plus S&H!

You'd have to give me $2.99 to take it off your hands. Oh, and it must be free shipping and handling.

how could MST3K totally re-edit it?

that's the woman's voice over so i don't see how that could even happen.

That was likely done by the film company when they re-edited "Angels' Brigade" into a TV-movie and retitled it "Angels' Revenge," before the MST3K crew got hold of it at all.

Well that answers a lot of questions!

I was wondering what would happen after the end of the (MST3K version) movie. They did in fact kill a lot of people, admittedly drug dealers, but still. The police would have them up on so many charges (including several counts of murder one) that they would be sent away for longer than Charles Manson. They might even get the chair!

Even if they were working with the police would they be allowed to carry automatic weapons and swords..?

I have the DVD from Scorpion Releasing that offers two different versions of the film: The complete 97 minute original and a shortened 87 minute version that was released by Roger Corman's New World Pictures.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
