This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know how the vertically challenged man came to be in this film, and what became of him afterward? I believe the character was Wawrzyniec, played by Tadeusz Rzepka, who has no other film credits.
shareI guess we'll never know.. I've read Krzysztof Kieslowski's autobiography, Kieslowski on Kieslowski and there is nothing about him in it. I guess he was just a regular guy who Kieslowski came across with.

Thanks for the response. Like a lot of Kieslowski's subjects, he was probably a civilian who caught Kieslowski's eye and wound up in his films. Maybe he was a factory worker.
How is "Kieslowski on Kieslowski" anyway? Is it worth seeking out?
