Actors expiring in order (spoiler)

Myself, and I'm sure many others, have noticed that the actors John Hurt, Harry Dean Stanton and, now, Ian Holm have died in the same order that their characters died in, at least as shown in the Director's Cut.

Okay, Ash "died" as a robot and Bolaji Badejo, who played the alien, died in 1992, but it is striking.

Does Ash die before Dallas (Tom Skerritt) in the Director's Cut?

In the DC, Dallas is still alive after being attacked and captured in the vents. He’s taken to the nest and cocooned. Dallas eventually died last when Ripley immolates him.

dying old age isn't striking at all. It will happen to everyone eventually. Bolaji and John Hurt's death were medical related though so their deaths were for the most part unexpected.
