I might like to see a few more reboots of classic movies, except... well, they suck. They have almost 100% failure rate. At least your actor list is superb.

What kind of person do you have to be to want to reboot a movie that literally gets everything right and doesn't need to be rebooted?
And why do you want to reboot it with a bunch of SJW hypocrites playing the main parts? Ellen DeGeneres as Lambert? Gtfo.
Everything right !! you are having a laugh. Full of holes, poorly acted, bad edits. As for SJW hypocrites....who cares? Not me. It's a bit of fun. nothing more. Do you really believe today's Hollywood egos...with the exception of Green who would live, Oldman who would revel in playing a mad robot and Redmayne having an iconic scene that the rest would all sign up to die rather un-heroic deaths without a fight.

They are currently wrapping up Alien:Covenant and there is still Alien 5 (Neil Blomkamp) out there.
Why would you reboot A1? Its damn near perfect for 1979 and doesn't need a facelift.

No, no,no,no,no,no and no. Just leave it alone. Hollywood of today simply can't make great films anymore, all they can crank out are CGI saturated crap and superhero films that are most crap as well. Anytime and I mean anytime they try and remake a classic it bombs big time. Time to learn a lesson here.

Please no...Too many remakes have come and been failures, leave this one alone. However, I do like the idea of Eva Green as Ripley, would not be my first choice but I could see it.

There are WAY too many remakes being made in Hollywood at the moment and there is already an Alien 5 with Sigourney Weaver returning in development now and even though it has been put on hold 'cause of Prometheus 2 it is still going to happen and I would much rather see that than another remake.
