I think Alien Xenomorph wins easily. What even comes close? Godzilla?!

Yeah, the Alien is the best, beating anything Lord of the Rings came up with as well. It's just so terrifying, yet extremely realistic.

The best creature as far as getting its way and vanquishing any opposition!

The one that comes close (that I can think of) is the Great White shark in Jaws. It sure was able to satisfy its appetite with impunity. It should have avoided Quint and his boat for the time being. Swim away. Have them think it was gone and then boom(!), swim back for another meal. lol

I agree. The way they hatch inside of you seems painful. The little bugs are nasty and a true depiction of monsters.

"Greatest Creature Ever" would be the dust bunny in "The Outer Limits"' "It Crawled Out Of The Woodwork" that once vacuumed up explodes into a deadly energy entity.

casting that role must have been a huge challenge! I can see Jason Alexander doing it, tho.
