This is my favorite season of the Superfriends, so I'm dying for it to be released. I have a hunch, however, that it's going to be a legal nightmare and simply not happen since some of the stories and based on copyrighted stories already (The Wizard of Oz, The Lord of the Rings, and 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea).
shareAccording to store displays, and now their ad, Target stores are releasing the World's Greatest SuperFriends as a Target exclusive on April 23, 2013. This is great news and a pleasant surprise. There may be a general release in the future, but no guarantees, so if you really want it and live near a Target, grab it, or if not look for it on Ebay.
