Significance?


I'm sure it's been mentioned before over and over, but despite the beautiful results, nearly all of whats being done here is beyond the price range of most of their viewers.
And although I RARELY criticize PBS for anything, considering their output weighed against their costs, I can't help but think this show is insulting more of its viewers then it's entertaining. Especially since 2008. I can't speak for everyone, but the homeowners I know are living check to check and can only scrimp and sacrifice for the most basic of mandatory repairs.
In spite of this, TOH has proceeded to evolve into a

Construction Projects Of The Rich And Famous
. It's as if we are bombarded with images of people with money to burn waltzing through their latest toy telling us all of their dreams. Then a quick shot to the Holy Grail Store who can
SUPRISE
provide you with everything you need and more. Cut to our four superheroes for slaps and giggles then POOF, all over.
I tend to be bitter so I will close with a suggestion rather then rant.
When they are dissmanteling old repair areas, go into more detail about how the repair was done and suggest how it could still be done when in a desperate situation.
Or maybe just start a spin off show titled
Jimmy Riggin
