Parasite scene?

I can't remember which cartoon this is from and was wondering if it's Star Blazers.

Is there a scene in this series where the captain gets a parasite stuck to his face? The parasite uses him to talk and then drops off putting the captain into a coma.

I remember it was a sci-fi cartoon and the man with the parasite had a white beard.
