First post? Am I the only one who remembers this series? @_@
Has anyone heard of plans to put this (admittedly short-lived) series out on DVD? This is the sort of thing I'd like to see. Once. Just to convince myself that I did, in fact, see it as a child when it first aired.
Just bought and watched the entire series. I got it on EBAY. Some person transferred their vhs copies onto a 4 dvd set, 19 episodes I believe (including a couple of 2 parters). The quality is not that great, but it is better than nothing, because I don't think this will ever be released on DVD. The show was canceled after the second season premiere. The dvds I bought, include 5 episodes that never aired on network tv, and evidently were aired on some cable channel called the Nostalgia Channel. I never heard of this channel, and I don't think it is still on the air, unless it changed its name to something else. Anyway, I couldn't pass up the chance to see this show again, so I was glad to see it on EBAY in ANY form.
It should be released on DVD and then made as a movie.Maybe give some of the original cast a cameo.I mean it was such a great idea build a rocket in a scrapyard, I think it would be even more relevant today than it was back then with private consortiums now getting into Space Travel.
I have a copy of VHS recordings on DVD that I'll be happy to copy for you. No charge as long as you promise to buy the series if it's ever released legitimately.
