I used to watch The Ropers (back when it was originally on I was in high school) and I thought it was pretty funny at the time. Remember we only had three choices at the time - the big three networks. I recently watched it on Antenna TV channel. Today I watched The Bad Seed, about the little girl that had a bad habit of murdering those around her that had something that she coveted. As I often do, I looked up the cast here on IMDB and was shocked to see that creepy little girl grew up to play the beautiful Anne on The Ropers. A real jaw dropper for me.

I did see reruns and thought the show was pretty funny.

Yes that's her. I thought everybody knew that. I watched this show when it was on then to but I didn't find it funny then and can't stand when it comes into threes company reruns. Though it's not as bad as threes a crowd. The ropers had a episode or two that was funny. As soon as they get to the Teri episodes of threes company I stop watching those episode are unwatchable. Teri eisodes are the worst.

Agreed. TC lost plenty of steam when the Ropers left.

I was sure you we're gonna say you were shocked because you thought 'The Ropers' was funny years ago but think it stinks now that all of us are older. 😱 That's the way I feel. Patty 'Bad Seed' McCormack definitely grew up to be a beautiful woman. I agree with everyone who says 'Three's Company' suffered a substantial loss when the Ropers set sail for another part of Los Angeles and their own ill-fated series. 
