So sad about Masako Natsume (Tripitaka)
I only found out about a few years ago after net search that Masako (tripitaka) had died back in 1985, what a damm shame she was fantastic and probably one of my first crushes.

and I understand that she was in The Star Trek movie - the one with Voyager in it - VygerUh, you might be thinking of Persis Khambatta, the Indian actress who played the bald-headed Ilia in the first Star Trek movie. (Sadly, she too died relatively young.) share

Indeed, it is very sad.

Well she didn't look manly at all and leukemia - cancer of the blood and bone marrow - doesn't explain why she was bald; she was bald because her role required her to be so.
Anyway, even if she looked manly - which she didn't - it doesn't make attraction to her creepy. Attraction to any look of men or women is not really creepy.

Oh sh!t.How bad do I feel now for posting this in the 'How did you find Monkey on imdb ?' thread.
I just Googled 'The uncomfortable confusion of a heterosexual 8 year old boy regarding bald, fictitious, androgenous Japanese religious figures in cult 70's TV Shows that led beyond a subliminal attraction to stalking middle aged Japanese women undergoing Chemotherapy'
Failing that 'monkey magic imdb' works.
*Blows fingers...whistles,looks up and waits*
It was lovely living in an era when kids weren't influenced by stuff on T.V.
*Blows fingers again..whistles and waits tapping foot impatiently*
