Id say it was 'Silver Horn' the witch who was married to Demon 'Golden Horn' from the episode 'Monkey Swallows the Universe'
I remember being quite taken by her when the show first aired in the 80's and was still quite wowed by her when I bought the DVD's a few years ago.

She was indeed very sexy. But the thread says, hotest female CHARACTER. The character she played was male.
Wow, that's depressing - I just read that Masako Natsume died of leukemia in 1985. She was only 28 :(

"Silver Horn" was indeed hot as was the Princess Green Lotus from "Pigsy King and God" but to me literally the "Hottest" female character was Lo-Chun, Princess of Fire from "The Fires of Jealousy"
