How did you find Monkey on IMDB?

The IMDB search facility does not find this show if you use the term "Monkey". This is a problem!

I found the show by looking up Godiego.

I did a search on youtube for Alakazam the great and found his tittle and picked one. I have been collecting this series for my son and anything related to this Story since he was born. I used to read him the book "Monkey" as a bed time story.

1 search of the IMDB for Monkey Magic turned up 3 titles, 98 was too new, 59 too old, 78 was just about right for me having watched this show when I was 6 years old and playing with the kids from the brothel next door (no they were not working there). I used to play this out with the boy and girl outside. Will have to see about getting it on DVD for my GF's kids to watch between it and Seven/Lost Cities of Gold you have some of my best childhood memories of commercial TV here in Oz.

Looked up "Forbidden Kingdom", read the plot outline, and saw that it was based on the story that this show was based on. It even linked to this page.

I just typed in 'Monkey' and clicked on the show that was made in the 70s. Worked fine.

Yes, like a few others I typed "monkey", pressed search and waited a bit.
Then just scrolled down til I recognised the image of monkey.
Shame there's no images of the original actors though.

I just Googled 'The uncomfortable confusion of a heterosexual 8 year old boy regarding bald, fictitious, androgenous Japanese religious figures in cult 70's TV Shows that led beyond a subliminal attraction to stalking middle aged Japanese women undergoing Chemotherapy'

Failing that 'monkey magic imdb' works.

I simply typed <Monkey>, too. This wasn't first on the list, but I didn't have to scroll to get to it. And now the theme song is in my head!

To name a thing is to pay it respect.
