Did he ever settle down with anyone

Or did the series end with him wandering off down another road?

Does anyone know?

reply

Oh come on people, Sith Suzie and I want to know how it ended - she has been waiting a year ?

reply

Me too. How did it end?

reply

I believe he contracted rabies and had to be destroyed. A sad episode.

reply

Really? I heard he got flattened by a tractor trailer while eating roadkill on the side of the road.

reply

I hope you know by know by now. He wondered away again on last episode. Though when he was ship wrecked in almost last show, he almost stayed it seemed.

This site has a complete episode guide for the 6 seasons of the 70s series. You should be able to find your answer here:

Wooo, movies.

reply

I heard he was kicked to death by a lumberjack, after trying to shag his leg.

reply

Sounds like a few people in this forum have contracted rabies as well...

reached the west coast and found the family that he was with before they moved away from halifax.. that is one dedicated dog, and I think its a play on the true stories people hear of dogs running great distances to get to a moved family.

I could be wrong I agree with the other guy try an episode guide.

The last episode "Pandora" Hobo finds an undetonated World War II bomb.

reply

In America, that would be clever. Did the squareheads use a new long range bomber?

reply

Just in case anyone's interested in the answer, they just showed the final episode, "Pandora", here (on CKVR, back-to-back eps every weekend). He does indeed find an unexploded WWII bomb (British design, Canadian manufacture) and saves everyone from certain death! At the end, the military boys salute him and offer him a job for life, but he has one last look and heads out the door, to roam the highways and byways of Ontario forever more.

Cheers,

I wonder if he's neutered? Probably why he's running loose all the time..lol

reply

He knocked up some bitch (female dog, people) and sadly had to quit his TV gig. No I'm being stupid, its just like Rhonda said! "Pandora" was the last episode as far as I know!
You can still watch it from anywhere on CTV2 Sunday mornings and it's fun for anyone raised in 1980s Toronto, since like most Canadian TV back in the day, they made NO effort to disguise the locations or hide landmarks or even advertising billboards, etc. In one epsode you can pick out a half-built CN Tower, another is shot in what is obviously the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, there's one set in pre-condo Harbourfront, another is at Wonderland right after it was built but before it was open to the public in the spring of 82, etc etc. Great nostalgia.

reply

I'd love to know how they showed a half-built CN Tower considering it was finished in 1976 and the show debuted in 1979.

reply

I'm not a genius but I am assuming that they maybe filmed that episode prior to 1976. Maybe they filmed most of the episodes prior to 1976. Like I said I am not a genius.

PS: I met this dog in person and shot him with a V-Dart.

My feet smells like *beep* Its because I stepped on dog poop.
