Is Ted retired now? he's 69 and looks very old for his age in recent pic

He's really looking old and tired in recent pictures and I'm kinda worried about him.....I hope he's taking it easy and getting lots of rest, he is 69 and not a spring chicken anymore, maybe he should just retire and call it a day!! Good Luck Ted (wherever you are)

He was looking old in the last Dallas project he did. That was around 2013.



Ted stated that he was sick around the time he filmed his 3-episode guest arc for the new Dallas series in 2013. At the time, Ted also had a recurring role on the daytime soap opera, The Young and the Restless. I think he was last on the show last year.

Ted was probably sick during those DALLAS eps becuase he read the scripts, in which the writers were like, "Well, we've effectively ruined DALLAS so now let's try to piss on KNOTS LANDING as well by having Gary and Val's happy ending turn to total *beep* with Gary going back to the bottle again even though that really makes NO SENSE for his whole character arc over the fourteen years of a very very GOOD series."
