I was watching an episode of All In The Family yesterday and saw that Gary Reilly and Tony Sattler definitely got some idead for KC from AITF (Ted is like the Australian Archie Bunker, Gloria & Michael becomes Greta & Bruno, opinions on racial topics and just Ted being very grumpy!
Who else thinks Kingswood Country is like an Australian All In The Family?

"Last of the Australians" with Alwyn Kurts and Rosie Sturgess was more like All in the family, or ""Til death us do Part" which "All in the Family" was based on.
The producers claimed it was based on the Australian stage drama "the One Day of the Year", but the only similarity was the names of the protagonists.
"Last of the Australians" was based on the characters from "The One day of the Year."
kingswood country was a spin off from "The Naked Vicar Show." Kevin Goldsby was also in the naked Vicar Show and turned up regularly as the Police Sergeant who hated Ted in Kingswood Country.
Bank robber: "Move back or I'll shoot Mr Bullpitt!"
Police Sergeant: "Is that Mr Ted Bullpitt?"
Ted: "Yes!"
