Any chance of video?

My memories of this are the vaguest...I remember it being on TV, and I remember what the main ship looked like, and a little about the villain. Nobody else seemed to remember the show (I even remember building the ship out of legos at my daycare, hehe) but finally a few years ago I saw an old SCI-FI magazine that had Jason of Star Command on the cover, so at least I knew the name.

Anyway, does this show exist on video *anywhere* ?

Looks like it's just bootlegs copies (eBay, collector sites...). I fondly remember watching JOSC on saturday morning CBS- it was awesome. Filmation needs to bring this stuff along with Space Academy, Shazam! and several others on DVD. TV Lamd reruns Shazam sometimes, and Sci-Fi Channel UK showed Space Academy not too long ago on Sundays, so I know it still exists.

The only reason I remember the name is cause my name is jason so people called me "Jason of Star Command" in 2nd grade. It does need to get a dvd release, I'd buy it.

Oh, yeah, in all the DVD goodness.

I was at Half Price Books, and found a box set of "Jason of Star Command", "Space Academy", and "Ark II". All the episodes of all three series, for only $9.95!!

Yes, there is.
Look for BCI Eclipse. They released all 28 episodes in a box with 3 DVDs. Including documentary, commentary tracks, rare footage, galleries.

I've bought it at Sound City Internet
