Operation Market-Garden?
Does this deal at all with Market-Garden, Montgomery's failed operation in the Netherlands?

Nope, totally skips it, between the breakout from Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. I guess they didn't have time and they were busy playing up Roosevelt's disappointment with Eisenhower's deal with DeGaulle, and the drama of the Bulge and Bastogne. Really, A Bridge Too Far covered it pretty well.
To be fair, Italy is kind of left in the background, too, aprat from some dialogue mentioning things from time to time.
