Presentation on Showtime

I saw much if not all of this series in the early 1980s on Showtime, but hadn't seen any of it since, until finding a YouTube clip a few minutes ago. However, the Showtime series lasted only about seven episodes, which were about 75 minutes. I guess Showtime simply put the episodes together in clusters of three or four. Anyway, now being 43 and an actor, I still think for as low budget as it is, it's very good.

I saw it on Showtime in the early 1980s as well. Showtime called it Mark Twain Theater. We didn't have a VCR yet, so I recorded all the episodes using my audio cassette tape recorder next to the TV speaker. I loved that series and was sad when it came to an end. I still have the audio cassette tapes in a case somewhere, but haven't seen the series since back then. I'd love a DVD release!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw it on Showtime. And I actually audio recorded several movies and TV show episodes, though not this one. And I have great news for you! It's on DVD, and with several bonus materials! It turns out that the series has a solid cult following.
