Well..the title is self explanatory, lol. What's your favorite scene between Jonathan and Jennifer?

One of mine is in the pilot episode, where Jennifer says that she'll refuse to make love to Jonathan for a year, if he won't leave, and he says he wants one kiss to remember her by, anyhow, they start kissing each other, and Jennifer's saying how that won't work, and she's all ice and steel inside, and in the end she says "What the hell, let's stay the week" Lol

Yes, that's one of my favorites! And what about the 'strip' scene in 'Passport to Murder'? BTW they are too numerous to mention...I love what I have called the 'Harts' Ménage Routine', all those very subtile exchanges of dialoge between the two...

Yeah! That scene is great too. Robert Wagner and Stefanie have great chemistry which is why they can pull off the subtle dialouge but you still know what they are getting at...lol.

Another scene just came to my mind...from 'Always, Elizabeth', it's the kitchen scene, or, if you will, the 'too much tarragon scene'?soo lovely!

Nope...haven't seen that one either. I only stumbled across "Hart to Hart" on youtube the other day, fell in love with it and went out and bought season one and two on DVD, I'm working my way through season one, but so far, I'm lovin it!!

Well, I was right! I had the feeling that you were rather new to the show. check anyway your local listing on the TV Guide, maybe some TV station is airing the episodes. BTW, what you found on YouTube are videos made by fans, loyal and devoted fans!.Sorry I mentioned episodes you haven't seen I'll stick with the first season ones. I'm a fan of the series and I'd feel terrible if someone mentioned something about my fav series which I haven't seen or couldn't see! For example, the TV station down here (Italy)that aired the ep last winter stopped midway the fifth season and I longed to see episodes I knew existed and knew the plot of them, like 'Always Elizabeth'! I solved the problem buying one of those 'TV SERIES SETS all included' which are advertised on the internet...got to buy three sets to manage one decent one! It still is better than nothing also because here TV series are dubbed over...*sigh*

Yep, you were right!! :0) And that's okay, I don't mind you mentioning things from other seasons. I prefer it, that way I know what I'm looking forward to, so by all means, have at it! What happens in the series finale?? Do Jennifer and Jonathan ever go through "marriage" problems? You know, getting divorced, affairs? That kind of thing. Just curious.

Your Italian? I have Italian heritage in my blood too :0)

sorry it took me sooo long to reply...Whether the posting of messages is immediate, you still have to consider time zones and the time shown on this IMDb board it's nine hours behind my time zone, so I'm writing this and here is June 20, almost 8 pm
Back to Hart talk!Jonathan and Jennifer getting divorced? Having an affair? Are you kidding??? they are the perfect couple, Jonathan is the husband you always have been looking for and the same is for Jennifer. I've a short interview were Robert Wagner explains that the network constantly asked them to go into some marriage problems, just to spice up things a little bit, but they refused absolutely. And that's what attracted me to Hart to Hart on a first basis, the way Jonathan takes care of his wife, see for ex. the episode 'you made me kill you' first season, he's really worried about Jennifer! BTW, there's a web site for Hart to Hart. I have it saved in my preferred sites so I give you 'directions' for it. go to www.tv.com-click on the tab 'action and adventure' then letter 'h'-scoll down and find Hart to Hart.(on a second basis i'm crazy for Robert Wagner)
There you will find episodes synopsis and infos on cast and crew. scoll down anb you'll find 'external link' or 'additional link', something like that. click on it and you'll find yourself in the Hart to Hart web site which has infos on the series, the Hart Industies, the house pics and infos on the series in general
In case you haven't noticed I like to write...a lot! I used to have lots of pen pals with Star Trek...I'm a Star Trek fan too
As to your Italian heritage, well, I'd say it's indeed a small world, as the Disneyland song says! Your parents or grandparents were from Italy?

my favorite scenes/episode are

Episode 1: Hit Jennifer Hart (just a scene with jonathan)
when he came down from the vessel and went to the limo and
fired the guy

Episode 37: Getting Aweigh with Murder , when jonathan stood under the
shower and jennifer draw the curtain.

Episode 38: The Murder of Jonathan Hart
when billy ray entered the office seeing jennifer and fritz von hart
kissing

Episode 89: Two Harts are Better Than One
the whole story how the met at london.

and of course a lot more.

p.s. there is one episode where they nearly get divorced

i agree with you that these two have a great chemistry.
i liked on the dvd, the pilot episode, which was never aired in
germany. it's interesting to watch this with the comments of
rj, stefanie and tom mankiewicz.

the pilot episode never aired here, too! They cut the series 10 episodes short of the end of fifth season! By the way, may I ask you a question? via Satellite TV on Astra Sat I receive several German TV stations. I remember that Das Vierte airs several American TV series, do you know by chance if they are planning to air Hart to Hart in the near future? Although my knowlwdge of German is little more than basic survival, and I presume the show was dubbed over as it has been here in Italy, I'd watch Hart to Hart in any languages, after all I sort of learnt English with Star Trek...
The pilot with all those comments and bits of trivia was a jewel in itself! I wished there were more special features in the second set...but weshould be thankful to Sony they did a second set.
I approve your choices of scenes! Do you remember 'Larsen last Jump'? The fireplace scene? HILARIOUS!!!

yes das vierte shows all seasons right now. each weekday 16,55 or something
like that. at the moment they are somewhere in the first or beginning
2nd season. there will be also the 1,5 hour films on "das vierte"
i think about 3 or 4 episodes. (the austrian orf2 shows the first
of the movies tonight: hart to hart - the return 23,55h to 01.20h)

you're right about larsen last jump that's also one of my favorite
same as "hart of darkness"

Danke! Danke! I just checked with Das Vierte! It's Monday to Friday at 5 pm!! So..get out of office and rush home at warp speed! As I could see from the title they are in first season, today episode should have been color Jennifer dead. I saw the teletext- I just read the title there was a story synopsis, but just don't ask me what it said! I don't get the Austrian second channel.

Thanks for your reply. No, I didn't really think that Jonathan and Jennifer would have marriage troubles, but networks are frequently bringing that into shows, merely for a ratings boost. I love how protective Jonathan is of Jennifer and vice versa.

What season is "Larsen Last Jump"?? I'm really hoping season three comes out soon!!!

My father's mother came over from Italy, and I have Italian blood on my mother's side as well :)

hi

don't want to tell the whole story, but on jonathan'S stag night
his "friends" bet how long the marriage will last.
and as one of them needs money after 5 or 6 years he's trying
to give jennifer evdence that jonathan got a mistress.
after the two discover what's going on they are playing the game
and show/tell everbody that they will get divorced.
but of course they will not!!

larsens last jump is in season 5

messages got mixed up...those sites have A LOT of infos especially on how the series was born since there no book about 'The Making of Hart to Hart' A real pity!
well...I'm fine...one last week and then well deserved holidays! I'm counting days backbard! My 'fan life' goes well too as I just got a book about Natalie and RJ (Wagner) and 'It Takes a Thief' on DVD a series that never aired here, non need to say that it stars Robert Wagner...after all I'm a fan of his, Plus next week two upcoming movies...oh and then there's Hart to Hart on that German TV Channel! Guess I can't complain!
BTW, Yahoo! has discussion groups on Hart to Hart and Robert Wagner. both are nice groups indeed

I got lost in the thread..you were referring to the episode..Yes it's hilarious especially when they start arguing over a supposed infidelity by Jonathan. and this happens in a restaurant. Jennifer goes out followed by Jonathan and each one takes his own car and goes home leaving a completely puzzled Max with no car and no explanation from them. Of course the whole scene was staged but the first time i saw the episode I was as puzzled as Max!

Well...yes. WHAT STORY did you read? Both? Oh..My!
I wrote them...both...I'm glad to hear that you liked 'Amok Time'! I enjoyed writing it. 'No comment' for the second one, please, I did a lot of thinking before sending it over to Nancy.... I wrote Star Trek fan fiction in my college days and got them also published on fanzines, but then there was no feedback, like now, so I am always pleased to hear comments, or critiques too.
I'm feeling like Jessica Fletcher!!!
It's two months now that I'm working on a Columbo/Hart to Hart story, but it's difficult, you have to keep track of everyting, but I hope to be able to work on it and finish it by the end of the summer
Just one more thing...as Lt Columbo would say...I somewhat feel a little embarrassed with THAT second story...are you a man or a woman?

With problems ? Nooo! The series ended suddenly. I read that Stefanie was devastated when she found out that the series set down. "He is my partner, he is my soulmate" "I am very sad", referring to Robert Wagner. "I am really gonna miss him".

Stefanie on the cancellation of H2H:

Stefanie said that " I heard about Hart to Hart here (Paris) and it was a terrible shock. The most bitter pill to swallow was that it was cancelled the day before the new programs were to be announced for the next season. Robert and I knew that the last shows could have been better, so we had already put a lot of time and energy into thinking positively about all the things that we could do in the new year.

I'm really sad that we won't be working together any more. He's my buddy and neither of us has spent so much time with another single man, woman or child.

Sure the financial blow is a shock too. I send a lot of what I earn to the William Holden Wildlife Foundation. It is very important to me."

I cried myself to sleep the night I heard. We never had a chance to say goodbye."
