What's happened to the actors who played the five?

Marcus Harris quit acting after the famous five series. He lives near Oxford today and runs an office in Reading.

Gary Russell lives east of London and is a member of the Dr. Who staff, he directed the english radio play of Dr. Who. He's the only one to have a website but it's momentarily offline. http://www.gary.dircon.co.uk/gaz.htm

Jennifer Thanisch is married, has two children and lives somewhere near Sussex. Her husband is a teacher. She quit acting after famous five and lives very reclusively and refuses to go to fan meetings.

Michele Gallagher is believed to live in Germany today. Her whereabouts is unknown and Marcus Harris talked to her the last time back in 1999.

Timmy died after the first season and the producers managed to get a double dog and didn't tell the children. Only later they learned that Timmy has died of cancer.

Sue Best died in 2002.

Michael Hinz had a long and successful TV career and plays act now in theater plays. He's always touring.

Have a look at you tube. Several copies of the opening titles have been put up in different languages. Great to hear it in German! The comments to each are even more interesting though. One guy says he knew Michelle Gallagher well and that she died about 5 years ago after what was described as quite a tragic life. Tried to verify this elsewhere on the net without success.

I heard that Michele Gallagher died.
