Seems to forget that the Duke family:
1) is opposed to racism.
2) Support equal opportunity for everyone.
3) Fought to better everyone.
4) Named their car for a military hero (who just happened to fight for the losing side) and
was offered to restore his full commission and pardon by the U.S.
In my opinion, the nation wide success of this show, proves that the anti-Confederate flag/statue movement is full of shit. For over 5 generations now, this nation has accepted celebration of Confederate heritage as a harmless expression of regional pride, as part of the Greater American Identity.
Attacking it, is actually a form of anti-Americanism, imo.
