Cite the best episodes and why

I bought the series on DVD and request suggestions as to your favorite episodes of both seasons and why. This way I can jump to an episode that piques my interest. Thanks!

Honestly, I would start with the pilot. It's very entertaining and works as a somewhat self-contained story.

reply

Yeah, that's a good starting point because it establishes the series. I've seen it. Any suggestions beyond that. I'm just asking because I want to jump to the better episodes, thanks.

By the way, it seems like everyone's dogging the second season, which is strange because they're also saying that it's more adult-oriented and serious than the first season, which I would think is a good thing. The only episode I've seen from the second season is the first one, "Time of the Hawk." Speaking of which, Hawk is an intriguing character.

Space Vampire - Genuinely creepy episode and a fan favorite.

Cruise Ship To The Stars - Come on, how can you get better than the rope/barrel dancing and Miss Cosmos?

Plot to Destroy a City - Great baddies and some interesting locations.

Thanks. I just caught "Space Vampires," and - yes - it is genuinely creepy (albeit cartoony, of course).

Any more? How about the 2nd season? Thanks!

Yes, "Time of the Hawk was a really good 2nd season episode.
Try "Mark of the Saurian," "The Hand of the Goral," "The Satyr." I'm sure there are a few others, I haven't seen them all, in awhile.

Thanks. I haven't seen any of those yet; I'll check 'em out.

I saw "Space Rockers" last night; it had goofy, cartoony elements, but it was fun and entertaining.

That was a fun episode. Overall, this was just a fun and campy (even at the time) series.

Both seasons overall are good. I always enjoyed Olympiad because of the outfit Wilma wears in the seconds half of the episode. Also liked The Satyr & The Plot to Kill a City. Unchained Woman is probably my most remembered episode of the series. Buck breaks a woman out of prison and an android stops at nothing to catch them.

A Dream of Jennifer
