La Rose de Versailles will be the next movie based on the manga/anime and will be produced by Toei Animation.

Unfortunately this informations is not officially available yet but......
It in 2007 (when the movie was actually suposed to come out) the advertizements were stating theat it would open in japanese theatres. If you live in the U.S or even other countries it is VERY VERY UNLIKELY that it will be in theatres there. Its most likely that someone will "bootleg" it from a japanese theatre and post it on youtube while it becomes available in our countries on DVD (which is also unlikely to happen). Lets hope i'm completly wrong and it actually gets a good view in the west and we it might give way for the original anime series to make it into our market aswell.
I think i'd love to see it when its on DVD..i can watch it big screen on the projectors at the university i go to. Hope things go well and we'll get it just like the other Animes.

Is there any more news on this? I'm really thrilled, I'm a huge anime/manga fan but in particular I'm devoted to BeruBara... we are in 2009 now and yet I've not heard anything official yet...
