French dub...

I assume there is no French dub of this anime?

If so, that is unfortunate. I want to watch this series, but I want to read it in English sub with French dub. I just cannot wrap my brain around watching French characters doing French things wrapped in French history, while hearing them speak Japanese as I attempt reading it in English. That's just far too many things going on at once, and it would distract me incredibly. Too many cultures at once, and the Japanese element becomes the middle-man in such an equation.

In the future, if the Japanese wish to tackle period pieces of other cultures through their anime, I hope they would be courteous enough to dub it in whatever language that other culture is, because it's difficult to see one culture, hear it in another, and read it in yet another, all at the same time.
