I don't remember this being a TV series!!

Anybody see any episodes? How long did the series last? I am sure it will never be released on DVD!

It didn't last very long, but I remember watching it. It was pretty well-done (though, of course, not nearly as good as the movie). The kids were cute--Meeno Peluce (one of the kids from The Amityville Horror) was in it, as well as Corey Feldman. I remember thinking how adorable the kid who played Lupus was. The only episode I remember off the top off my head was one where the kids were getting bullied or teased or something by another bunch of kids, and the smart Bear (Engelburg? Stein?) turned the tables on them by somehow making them look stupid, and in the end they got a lesson about how that was just as wrong (to bully with your smarts instead of beating someone up). I thought that was complete hooey but whatever! I still enjoyed the show.

I vaguely remember the Bad News Bears TV series airing on Nickelodeon when I was a kid. Quite frankly, I don't know how a prime time, broadcast TV version of BNBs would've been successful considering that the raw language from the movie would've obviously been absent.

I remember the tv series, mostly because I had a crush on Kristoff St. John who played Ahmad.
I don't think it lasted more than a season, maybe 15-20 episodes.
Also remember Meeno Peluce (brother of Soleil Moon Fry who later played Punky Brewster).

There were 26 total episodes and the laugh track and poor writing killed it.
