from a bar to a restaurant?

When Archie bought the bar... I don't recall there was a cooking room behind the wall where the booze was kept right behind the counter. When did Archies place expand to a bar/restaurant? Did I miss it somehow?

I'm watching the Christmas episode where the phony $10 bills were being spent at the bar; he describes the place as a "bar and grill".

He expanded in the middle of the first season.

In the first episode as Archie Bunker's Place, Archie bought the empty restaurant next to the bar, with plans to bust through the wall and expand. Harry got cold feet and sold his share of the business to Murray Klein. A couple episodes later, they made the expansion.
