I am related to Harriet Ross Tubman

My great-great-great grandmother was Harriet Ross Tubman's younger sister Rachel Ross . My great grandmother was her great grand niece also my grandmother and my great aunts was her great grandnieces who were all born in Dorchester County, Maryland which is the same town where Harriet Tubman was born. I heard that some how Rachel did not go to Auburn, New York because she had died from pnemonia during the rescue trips so Rachel did had children who didn't leave with Harriet. I heard family stories about Ben and Angerine who are Tubman's nephew and niece who did survive after slavery (kept their surname Ross) and was sold to nearby plantation near Cambridge, Maryland about 20 miles from Dorchester County. They both had children of their own and later died. I rented this movie a couple months ago from a local library and I thought the movie was excellent and had a wonderful cast. I'm so happy to be the actual descendant of a such extraordinary woman.

Wow. I think I read some place that Harriet Tubman adopted and/or raised a little girl that was rumored to be her own child but mostly believed to be one of her nieces from a sibling who had died.
