Watched it...casting Diana Ross was a mistake !

A great waste of resources and really good work on this film went downhill because the lead actress not only couldn't act right but was being forced into the production.

Seriously didn't the director/producers see that she couldn't get those scenes right ? she was terrible and too old for the role.

For 1978 film it's a work of art that was ruined by bad acting !

Right... I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I really like Diana as Dorothy.
I found it really interesting to see the character portrayed as an insecure adult rather than a naive child.

She was fine. I love this movie. It has a lot of atmosphere and good music and dancing.
