Oh wow i remember this

Yah back in the good ole days of Disney
at least for me
when there were no breaks in the middle of the shows
and in between shows
they would show their own kind of music videos

every halloween they showed my favorite halloween
movies like Ted E. Bear and the Great Bear Scare
The Halloween that Almost Wasn't
The special they had where the mirror from Snow White
went through all the villians in Disney's movies
and i think it always ended with Captain Hook
and the Skeleton Dance
and the cartoon with Donald's nephews going trick or treating
and they seek the help of a withc

and in the middle of all this they showed this cartoon
i loved it
especially the song they had at the end
halloween
witch magic
halloween halloween halloween

My family taped this when I was little I still watch it even though its a bit fuzzy and the trakin is a tad off buts its still clear.great fall show.Hope to find it on DVD.The theme song is irresistable sometimes I rewind to hear it again

reply

yeah, i taped this off of tv along with fat albert's halloween and the cone heads....commercials and all! i'm gonna transfer it to dvd as mine is in pretty good condition, being 20 years old and all.

It's ALWAYS about Nathan Grantham's undead satanic zombie powers.

reply

I remember watching this back in the 70's. I have waited many years to see this again. It seems like no channel ever shows it at all anymore. By the way, The Fat Albert special was given an official DVD release last year. Now if only they could get this one out on DVD.

I usally don't like Wal-Mart cause of their ant-Union crap and the way they pull illegal stuff on their workers, but I've waited so long for this I might just be tempted to check there.

A couple of years ago I was able to get a copy on ebay. I had been trying to get a copy for some time as I hadn't seen the show since the once or twice it aired in my area in the late 70's. It's an excellent Halloween adventure and will be watched every year along with It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Yes, this was out on video a couple of times. An ebay search will easily turn up copies. I paid $7 for a copy with no case, a mint copy goes for about $50

reply

i think this is the Halloween cartoon i vaguely remembered.
i probably saw it on Disney as well.
did it not play every year for several years - probably in the 80's?

i guess it's still not available anywhere?
