JUST WATCHED THE DVD...

There are so many things I love about this movie. The films Altman did with huge casts acting out overlapping story lines are among my favorites so I was hooked from the beginning. The characters were quirky and interesting and the whole idea of it being set at a wedding appealed to me. I also loved seeing all the bit players from 3 Women showing up in this one too. The seventies fashions were great, the house was gorgeous, and I really laughed out loud quite a few times. I was surprised also that the dvd featured not only the trailer but a "making of" documentary as well. Would have loved an Altman commentary but the doc was informative and interesting. I wouldn't have expected any special features considering this film is almost forgotten and considered one of RA's "minor" ones. All in all, my ten bucks were very well spent.
