Thanks but to be fair I never saw that one, Or I wouldn't of posted it and I did it on my phone and the last 2 pages didn't have it on there

Wasn't going to check the whole number of pages on my phone-But anyway thoughts?

reply

I will give it a try. But if it's not perfect I will not continue until the end.

That is good to hear snelling, Do you think they will make this one exactly the same as the 70's one or more tamer or darker this time?

reply

Not going to bother with it. It's already confirmed to have toned down the violence, and ret-conned the female characters into more prominent roles for nothing more than PC reasons. The original still stands on its merits, and frankly, the animation style of the original lends to the grim charm of the first movie.

reply

So you won't even give it a chance though it will be toned down, The original stands by itself of course

How is the weather you are, Been really warm in the UK

reply

If I'm really bored and have nothing else to watch, morbid curiosity will see me watch some of it.

reply

I guess something had to become the UK's answer to the yanks' continuing bastardization of the original Land Before Time with watered-down spinoffs that piss all over the original work for a cheap buck or two.

reply

So your not going to watch it now due to it being toned down from the violence etc

The difference between Land Before Time and this, Is WD never had any sequels and I thought Land Before Time 2 was alright myself

reply

If the same animation studio that did the 3D Peter Rabbit series is doing this CG WD, then I'll give it a chance. They did a really good job translating Beatrix Potter's characters into attractive 3D models. Otherwise I'm usually in the veteran WD enthusiast camp who pooh poohs anything outside the original book & film.

I'm curious how this came about considering that a fairly decent toned down WD TV series already exists, so why the need of another remake. But the fact is that Netflix is hungry for children's content so it makes sense they're backing it.

reply

Yea hat animation studio is really good, Ah Beatrix Potter I had a'lot of the books and remember the TV show as a kid

I remember that TV show in late 90's 99 till 2001, Think they just want to update it-I do get annoyed with all these remakes

But I do trust Netflix, They are a decent company that brings out quality stuff
